Center Director Appointed to BIAA Board of Directors

Dr. Michael Jaffee, MD, Chair of the Department of Neurology at the University of Florida and Director of the UF BRAIN Center, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Brain Injury Association of America (BIAA). His appointment underscores his dedication to improving the lives of individuals affected by brain injury on a broader platform.

BIAA is a national organization devoted to supporting individuals affected by brain injury and advocating for their needs. Committed to improving the quality of life for survivors and their families, the BIAA focuses on providing resources, raising awareness, accelerating research, and driving legislative initiatives to address the challenges faced by those impacted by brain injuries.

Dr. Jaffee brings a wealth of expertise and experience to his new role on the Board of Directors. He has been a driving force in advancing neurological research and care nationally. Dr. Jaffee’s commitment to improving patient outcomes, his extensive knowledge in the diagnosis and management of brain injuries, combined with his research in neurodegenerative diseases and innovative treatment approaches, positions him as a leading authority in the neurological community.
