Selected trainees will receive complimentary symposium registration, including access to all scientific sessions, meals, and networking events. Travel expenses are not covered by this scholarship.
Trainee Scholarship Program
The UF BRAIN Center is offering a limited number of scholarships for trainees to attend the 2026 Annual Statewide Florida Brain Injury Research Symposium on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at the UF Health Research & Academic Center at Lake Nona in Orlando, FL.
Selected trainees will receive complimentary symposium registration, including access to all scientific sessions, meals, and networking events. Travel expenses are not covered by this scholarship.
What the Scholarship Covers
- Full-day symposium registration
- Continental breakfast, boxed lunch, and evening poster reception
- Access to all keynote, panel, and oral presentation sessions
- Digital poster session and awards ceremony
- Networking with brain injury researchers and clinicians from across Florida
Eligibility
We welcome applications from trainees at all stages, including:
- Undergraduate students
- Post-baccalaureate trainees
- Graduate students (Master’s and Doctoral)
- Postdoctoral fellows
- Medical residents
- Clinical fellows
Applicants should have an interest in brain injury research, neurorehabilitation, or related fields. Applicants from any institution are eligible.

About the Symposium
The inaugural Florida Brain Injury Research Symposium brings together researchers, clinicians, and trainees from across Florida to share the latest advances in brain injury research, neurorehabilitation, and neuroresilience. The event is hosted by the UF Brain Injury, Rehabilitation and Neuroresilience (BRAIN) Center and co-located with Brain Injury Florida’s 3rd Brain Injury Information and Education Conference.
